Maridian real estate uses a numerous amount of systems for a single process in their company. The sales process that they currently have involves around 5 separate applications that customers must interact with before finally getting their dream home. Based on the analysis for Maridian Real Estate, we have determined the following as the best course of action: 

Problem:

The issue with Maridian Real Estate's Information technology is that there are too many locations that different information is being stored. This has the potential to cause information silos. The amount of websites that have to be updated to ensure no issues arise is what we should be aiming to avoid. We also do not utilize our social media outlets to their fullest potential. Instagram has recently added a shop to their application which allows businesses to post their products for sale. They also have the option to set up a business account which allows the business to see how many people have viewed their post or visited their page. 

Recommendation for Structured Processes:

A way to prevent information silos is to use one program or programs that communicate with each other so that duplication of data does not occur. We could switch to a software that can take our rental/sale leads, log which properties they are interested in and take off those property listings from the market once the contracts are drafted. This will help to eliminate consumers from falling in love with a house only to find out it has already been contracted. This way the sales process flows more efficiently and office employees do not have to refer to three different softwares if they want to go back and view how the sale or rental is going.

Recommendation for Dynamic Processes:

Every week we create a plan on what to post for each day. Our main way of engaging prospective clients is by creating a catchy caption and using some eye catching photos. Although, this alone can lead to many lost leads. A way to improve our marketing efforts is to utilize Instagram's business account features. With this we can view post insights and see how many interactions we actually receive on each post. We can also utilize Instagram's shopping feature and link our listings to our posts.
