Conclusion

Throughout this report, we discussed Maridian Real Estate- a real estate agency located in Hoboken New Jersey which specializes in rental properties but also encourages sales. We discussed their many information systems that are used on a daily basis in their company during their sales process. They use a total of around 10 different information system softwares during the sales process. We also discussed their marketing strategy which they focus on using social media marketing through Instagram and Facebook. They also strive to build a lasting relationship with each customer to ensure they have an easy time searching for and finalizing the sale on their dream home. 

To conclude, Maridian Real Estate has a few information system errors that we have decided should be adapted and fixed to better serve consumers as well as employees. They have many systems for different aspects of the company- such as Followup boss, google sheets, ylopo, and docusign- which are all involved in the sales process. The use of all of these systems for a single purpose increases the risk of information being lost or duplicated through other applications. Eliminating the use of multiple softwares will remove the need for the employee to have to rewrite information on multiple apps, and be confused while switching applications and losing data. Another issue is that consumers sometimes like to browse online prior to going to see a certain location. Some may stumble upon a location that has already had a contract drafted which could cause unnecessary heartbreak in the process. Falling in love with a house then realizing it should have been off the market can put a damper on many. This is why they should find a service that offers a way for the houses to be pulled from the market as soon as a contract is drafted.
