Databases (organized collection of information/data stored electronically):
The vertical application that we use is called Followup Boss. This system contains client information such as their interests in the properties, texts and email conversations with the agents, and the plans for a followup.
The horizontal application that we use is Google Spreadsheet which contain lists of active rental and sales properties that we currently have.
Potential Issues with Current IS System:
Our information systems are separated into three key components used within our company. This has a potential to lead to information silos- which are information management systems that are unable to communicate with other information management systems. Sometimes when contracts are drafted for properties, it can be easy to forget to update the listing which could cause confusion when people are hunting for their new homes online.
Due to the fact that these Information Systems are spread apart so widely, the potential for information silos to occur is increased.
IS Systems Used:
For the customer service aspect, some of the systems used include Ruby virtual assistant, Hudson MLS, Zillow, and Ylopo.

For the marketing aspect of the company, we use Ylopo, Facebook postings, Instagram posts, Youtube, and Matterport.
